What we collect
From the enquiry form: name, email, the study you selected, optional commerce-app name, optional catalog breadth, and your message. From email or telephone: whatever you choose to send. From the site: essential cookie preference (accepted or rejected) stored on your device. We do not ask for identity-card numbers, payment-card details, or customer lists from your commerce app.
Why we use it
To reply to enquiries, prepare estimates, schedule workshops, deliver findings packs to the named merchandisers, and keep records required for Malaysian tax. Legitimate interests in running a professional practice, and steps prior to a contract, are the usual grounds. We do not sell contact lists.
Retention
Unsuccessful enquiries are kept up to eighteen months in case you write again about the same catalog. Accepted engagements and invoices are kept for seven years to meet record-keeping duties in Malaysia. Cookie preference remains until you clear site data.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold, ask for a correction, or ask us to stop using your details for a future estimate. Send the request from the email we already hold so we can match the file. We will respond within twenty-one days. You may complain to the Department of Personal Data Protection in Malaysia if you believe we have mishandled your information.
International transfers
Our mailbox and file hosts may store copies outside Malaysia. When that happens we use suppliers who contract to protect the data to a standard comparable with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Findings packs are not uploaded to public drives. We do not transfer your enquiry into advertising networks.
Screens from your catalog
During a study we may capture screens of listing pages. Those screens can contain prices and product names; they should not contain customer identities. They are processed as your confidential materials under the terms of engagement, not as a marketing database.
